I started this blog with the intention of sharing health, fitness, and skincare tips and advice with you but I had to put this blog on the backburner for awhile. Life got busy and I didn’t have the time to devote to writing. Being a working mom and finding time to exercise has been a chore. I have honestly caught myself muttering to myself, “Working, exercising, and babies, oh my!”
When I started blogging, I had just given birth. After blogging for a few weeks, I realized my passion would have to wait. I needed to devote my time to the love of my life: My baby. Life has gone back to normal and I now have more time to blog.
Having a baby and trying to fit work, fitness, and eating healthy into my busy schedule has definitely been challenging. It has been 16 years since I had a baby and I forgot how difficult it could be to stay healthy when you’re spending your day chasing an active toddler. It gets so busy that it is very easy to forget about yourself. Not everybody has the time to spend at the gym working out, and not everybody has the time to cook a healthy meal.
This experience has been an eyeopener. I forgot what it was like for parents with little ones, but I understand now. I have learned a lot about how to stay healthy while taking caring of little ones and I am going to share what I am doing to take care of myself with you. I’ll share tips on how to squeeze in time for yourself, workout ideas (I am a Certified Fitness Trainer), recipes, and post workout videos that you could do from the comfort of your home.
