Are you ready to get started on your weight loss journey but not sure where to start? I know, from experience, how overwhelming it can be especially when there’s so much conflicting information out there. There are hundreds of special diet programs, books, and people promoting weight loss companies to choose from. It’s all fluff. You don’t need fancy books, fancy food, or expensive exercise equipment to lose weight. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Weight loss success can be achieved by making small changes in your diet and daily habits. Here are 3 weight loss success tips to help you get started:


Simple Weight Loss Success Tips

  1. Eat Breakfast within 1 hour of waking up. Eating breakfast first thing in the morning will jump start your metabolism by at least 10%. Blood sugar and insulin levels will also become regulated, you’ll be more likely to eat a wholesome breakfast rather choosing unhealthy food out of hunger, and it improves your cognitive ability for the day.
  2. Drink 1-2 cups of water before every meal. Water helps with digestion, aides weight loss by boosting metabolism, and helps you feel full so you end up eating less.
  3. Do NOT skip meals. This is so important. When you a skip meal, your body goes in starvation mode. When this happens, your body tries to conserve by storing extra fat. I always recommend eating FOOD instead of drinking a shake but there are times when that is not possible.If you do not have time to eat, have a meal replacement shake.

There are other things you can do to reach your weight loss goals. I will share more weight loss success tips in future posts but focus on these 3 weight loss success tips for now. Slowly work toward your goals. Doing too much, too fast can be overwhelming and can slow you down or lead to failure.  “Slow and steady wins the race.”
